GUEST / LAB
What does "comfort" in interior design mean?
The customer will mostly notice physical comfort, but the designer knows that it is not enough to create great experiences.
There are three parameters to define "comfort" concept:
- the first one is visual-cerebral, which represents the first impact we have with what we see (it is an unconscious reaction to non-verbal communication). The designer must choose a pleasant an comfortable style for customers' eyes and soul;
- the second one is more concrete, since it refers to available physical amenities;
- the third one is probably less evident, but necessary to close the circle of comfort. It requires sustainability, environment's respect and projection towards an healthy future. This touches human consciousness and it needs specific attention for every action you do, so that this will be careful and responsible.
